This book is an anthology of about 120 letters is assembled by "Max" Schuster and Richard L. Simon, of Simon & Schuster publishing house in 1924. Schuster began collecting them in 1915 and published this book in 1940. Arranged chronologically, each letter is preceded by an introduction with a brief biography of the writer, followed by an epilogue regarding the consequences the communication brought.
Hardcover in good condition. Dust jacket is intact, but in poor condition. Cover boards are solid and free from stains. Inner pages are clean and clear from marks.
